Does anyone know if or how it is possible to transfer photographs onto fleece material? I am planning to make a fleece blanket for my boyfriend for christmas. I was wanting to put some pictures of us on it. But i was not sure if the transfer paper would stay on fleece material. Does anyone know?? eringobraghless replied: "Theoretically, you can do a transfer on any material that will accept the medium plus the heat necessary to set it, but I don't think you'll get the result you're after. You might have better luck transferring your photos onto fabric, then cutting and sewing patchwork, which you could then sew to the fleece to make a sort of duvet." Where do I find some fleece material with a Twilight design? I want to make a fleece tie blanket and I wanted it to have a Twilight design. Anyone know where I can buy some Twilight fleece material?

You probably can't use any type of fusible bond. The fleece will melt under the heat of the iron.
If you want to try it, test a sample first. Start with a fairly low heat and work up to a hotter iron if you need to. But, I don't think you'll get good results." I am making fleece blankets for Cristrmas and would like to apply some personalized appliques to them. these would be store bought iron on appliques. Where can I find fleece with a Star Trek print? Could be a Starfleet logo, the Enterprise, etc... I've done a search but cannot find it.

Making a pillow for my friend for X-mas and going hand sew it. Also anything I should know about the thread?? Johanna S replied: "Needle size doesn't really matter. I mean you don't want anything too big or too small. Just a regular needle. The thread they sell these days is a poly cotton blend. It works fine for almost anything. Remember to sew it inside out and double your stitches at the corners.

Also if your useing the cotten/poly blend thred double the thred up for better strength." Is fleece material made of wool or cotton. If neither what substance is it?
